Tell us anything you want us to know about yourself ( it can be from what you do, to what you like doing or would like to do in/with your life ).Feel free to share projects you are working or would like to work on to attract the like minded.

I experienced a spiritual awakening 30 years ago, but over time found myself getting further and further away from my exploration of Spirit. But recently, my life as I had known it for many, many a year came to an abrupt end, and it has resulted in a second spiritual awakening within me.

What would you like this group to do and be for its members and people out there ( feel free to be as creative as you can be by suggesting new ideas concerning our group or outside our group related activities )?

I like what you wrote: "In addition to discussion, exchange of ideas and experiences I see our group caring for and helping first of all to each other, but then passing our conscious further onto the world for the sake of others."

Whose teaching /reading ( if at all )assisted you in your path to evolution of your own consciousness? Do you still practicing/relying/deepening yourself in it or similar teaching?

Oh my goodness, so many writers and teachers: Baba Ram Dass, Stephen Levine, Paramhansa Yogananda, Swami Muktananda, Baghwan Shree Rajneesh, Sathya Sai Baba, A Course In Miracles, the Seth Material, the Findhorn Foundation, Ken Keyes, Ken Carey, Ken Wilber - and so many others. But more recently, Eckhart Tolle, Neale Donald Walsch, Abraham-Hicks, and the Anastasia books.

How did you come about being a conscious/awakened person ( what event or person in your life lead you to become one )?

A chance visit to an isolated corner of a bookstore in 1979 resulted in my picking up the book "Passages About Earth", by William Irwin Thompson, which in turn introduced me to Findhorn, and to Auroville, and to a number of other sacred spots on this precious planet of ours. A second, seemingly unrelated visit to yet another isolated corner of yet another bookstore resulted in my "stumbling" upon a slim volume entitled "The Magic Of Findhorn". The rest, as they say, is history.

What, do you believe, makes you to a consciously evolved/awakened being ( or alternatively: In what and how it is expressed in your daily life? )

Tough question. But I think the fact that Truth is paramount to me. Not simply relative truth, but absolute/unmodified/direct Truth. No matter how complicated or distracting or seductive life becomes, sooner or later I return to my desire to move beyond the world of duality and to experience Truth.

Hi, Edward - I have been a spiritual seeker for many years now, and I would like to join a group of like-minded individuals, especially those influenced by Eckhart Tolle.
