Zambia Wildlife slide show and discussion

Are you ready to be transported to Zambia? Please join us to celebrate the resounding success of Open Heart Safari I and help launch the outreach for Open Heart Safari II! A program of sound, sights, stories, and sensory experiences. And please bring friends.

It is nearly impossible to travel to Africa without being deeply touched. The sheer abundance of wildlife and vast expanses of natural landscape inspire awe. Nearly everywhere one travels, the reality – and threats to - animal and human survival are apparent. The birthplace of humanity, the continent is home to numerous indigenous peoples, cultural traditions and rituals, and decades-old independent nations still working to establish basic literacy and health programs.
Open Heart Safari is designed for people who want to experience the beauty and subtleties and challenges of Africa. We get close to wild animals in vehicle, on foot, boating down river; visit remote wilderness areas far from other tourists; visit rural and urban communities; meet with conservationists and activists. The trip incorporates contemplative practices, yoga, movement, poetry, and regular group check-ins to deepen our connection to the environment, explore our experiences, and keep our minds, bodies and spirits healthy.

The best way to travel to Africa is with an Open Heart!

Very nice people; unfortunately, there were technical difficulties and it delayed things 40 min.. Unfortunately, they were unable to project the images and we were only able to see them on a laptop screen (very difficult to see well).

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
