Beginner Contact Improv Dance Class w/ Jeffrey Nash

BRING AND/OR BE A BEGINNER CLASS TAUGHT BY JEFFREY NASH STARTS SOON AFTER 6:30PM LASTING ONE HOUR.  THE OPEN DANCE JAM CONTINUES TILL 9:00PM

The Bring (or Be) a Beginner Night takes place once  every month at the Los Angeles – Santa Monica Contact Improvisation Dance Jam, at which beginners are especially encouraged to attend and we start the evening with a class/warmup suitable for all levels.

Jeffrey Nash began to explore dance and movement in the Early 80′s.  In the late 80′s he discovered “contact improv” and began combining principles from his studies in holistic health and physics to his exploration of the dance form.  He was a performing member of the Carol Solomon Dance Company from 1992-1994.

He has taught and worked with clients across the US and Canada as well as in Europe.   He worked for over 20 years with the Simonton Cancer Center and was Director of Massage Therapy at Glendale Career College for nearly four year.  Jeffrey is presntly an organizer of the California Contact Improv Jam At Harbin Hot Springs and the LA?Santa Monica Contact Improv Jam.  He continues his work with the Awakening Process while also exploring movement and dance, and  teaching and practicing the contact improv form.

I'm interested in joining but with getting ready to launch a business have very little funds. What does this cost? I may be able to bring 1 or more guest.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
