If you like a good movie and good food, you will surely want to join us for this great night of both! This is my all time favorite food movie (and book), and I am excited to share this unique culinary experience with you all.
The menu for the evening
- Quail in Rose Petal Sauce
(please note, we may substitute chicken if quail is unavailable)
- Chiles en Nogada (stuffed chiles with walnut sauce and pomegranate)
- Champandongo with Mole Sauce
- Cinnamon Apple Cream fritters with Caramel Dipping Sauce
- Spiced White Wine Sangria
I will do some prep work beforehand, but we will prepare much of the meal together starting promptly at 5:00pm and plan to sit down to eat and watch the movie by 7:00. Please make every possible effort to arrive on time and ready to cook so that we can keep the evening on schedule.
The cost of the event includes all groceries and service ware for the above listed menu, but please feel free to bring along a bottle of your preferred wine/beer as well. Also, I have some aprons to share, but please bring your own if you need one.
The weather should be lovely, so we will plan on eating and viewing the movie outside. Dress accordingly in case the night is chilly.
The event is limited to 15 participants, so please sign up early to reserve your spot.
