DIA DUIT MO CHAIRDE
(Hello my friends in Gaelic)
NOT ONLY IS MARCH THE MONTH TO CELEBRATE ST PATTY'S DAY...... 4 days later is the first day of Spring...
WE HAVE A LOT TO CELEBRATE!!
LADIES PLEASE BRING THE HUBBIES OR BOYFRIENDS OR GUY FRIENDS! COME ON GUYS I KNOW MANY OF YOU CAN EITHER COOK OR WOULD LIKE TO LEARN TO COOK!!
What better way for me to celebrate my Bday than to be with my favorite foodies!
My mom was Irish so I know a little about Irish cuisine. There are tons of recipes to be found on various cooking sites despite popular belief that Irish & English recipes are virtually non existent!
Please bring wine or beer - whatever you would like to drink.
Prepare you dishes for about 6-8 people on average.
If you want to share your recipes, please make a few copies. People are starting to ask for copies of recipes at our last few potlucks. We have some amazing cooks in our group who would like to try your dishes at home!
We ask for a donation of $5 for members - $5 for guess. The cost is associated with maintaining this website and miscellaneous expenses the host or hostess may incur.
****Please update your rsvp if you can't make it so the host/hostess will know how many to expect. If you aren't sure yet what dish you will bring, you can always fill in later. Add in same area where you rsvp.****
OH - YOU MUST WEAR SOMETHING GREEN - YOU HAD TO KNOW THAT WAS COMING! :-)
As always my friends...
SLAHN GO FOILL!
(Good bye for now)
