This dinner is in honor of my launching my new kids photography business, KrisleeKids.com. (Yea!!!) I've been wanting to do a dinner of kids favorites for years and this seems like the time.
So it's all about making adult versions of your favorite childhood foods and sharing them with the group. My favorite food as a kid was caesar salad with garlic bread - so I don't think the whole thing is going to be filled with mac & cheese. If you're concerned that there's going to be too many of something - put what you think you're going to make in the comments when you rsvp.
And now to the fundraiser bit: It costs me $150 a year just to have this group on meetup. I've never collected money for the maintenance of this group with the assumption that it comes out in the wash - but I can't really afford to do that right now. So while, normally I charge $7 - $10 for these things and I buy a bunch of wine with the pooled money - that's not the case this time. The money will go to keeping the group alive and well.
Sign up, bring your dish and what you'll be drinking and keep this group alive! If you would like to contribute but can't come to the event just RSVP yes - go through the payment process and write in the comments that you're not coming.
