Fellow member Jenn has volunteered to host a hands-on RAVIOLI making class in her home in Sellwood.
The "party" starts at 2:00 and Jenn will guide you through making 2 kinds of ravioli. You will be making 2 types of ravioli, and Italian herbed ricotta ravioli and a sage winter squash ravioli~~
After the class, you will sit down and enjoy and nice POTLUCK dinner. Each attendee must pick one course to bring to the class....ready to serve with maybe only a little last minute finishing off. When you pick your course...you MUST post it for all to see to avoid duplication. Jenn is vegetarian so it would be great if you could being something veggie friendly....though not an absolute requirement...
Each guest needs to choose 1 of the following to bring:
3. HOMEMADE pasta sauce to go with Italian herbed ricotta ravioli
5. HOMEMADE pasta sauce to go with sage winter squash ravioli
Also....it is a bring your own beverage event, so please bring whatever you would like to drink along with the idea to share....
You MUST put down what you will be bringing (from above list) under comments section so all can see. Failure to do so may result in my having to change your RSVP to no....ouch ouch ....I know...but we want to make sure we get all menu items covered and attendees can plan their contributions...thank you for understanding~~~.
Fee for the event is $12.50........one HECK OF DEAL.....as opposed to $75 at "Portland Culinary Workshop" or "Sur la Table"~~! Fee is refundable if event is canceled or rescheduled.
Thank you Jenn for hosting for our group for what I am sure is going to be a fun and delicious afternoon! I just bought my first pasta maker this year and THERE IS A difference between fresh and store bought!!
