Cooking For A Crowd

"Cooking For A Crowd"... This group was started to combine two passions. The love of cooking at home and meeting new people. Often the mere sharing of food with strangers turns them into good friends. These Meet n Eat get-togethers are "barefoot casual", held in an intimate San Francisco apartment setting. If you are a food enthusiast with an additional taste for meeting new people and want to embrace the joy that comes from both, then join us. Cooking For A Crowd will include either a Three or Four Course Dinner, Social Plate Menus, Themed Cocktail Parties or Artisan Salt & Food Pairing Socials.

A toast to all who came to my Pot Luck Dinner last night. As always there was plenty of good conversation, humor and wine. But the highlight was of course the food you contributed. Everyone showed their fine culinary talents. Each dish was delightfully good.....there was Homemade Guacamole with a twist, Mixed Green Strawberry Salad, Lentil Salad, Tortilini Spinach Soup, Cassoulet. A special thanks to Meridith, who handpicked the wild blackberries from her own SF neighborhood, that became a wonderful Blackberry Balsamic Pie with Walnut Oatmeal Crumble served with Vanilla Ice Cream. Yum Yum Yum.....
    Thank You Foodist!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
