The purpose of the group is to connect foreign-born or American-born Brazilian moms, as well as parents with at least one Brazilian spouse that wants their kids to grown up exposed to a Brazilian culture and language. Hopefully we will be able to create a core group of friends with similar cultures and establish a great network of support. The idea I have for this group, is to try to get together once a week to have fun, learn new things, relax, and enjoy our time together. I'd like to do different things each week- trade baking recipes, play games, go to the park, movie nights, Mom's night out and nights in, Bunco, family gatherings, and etc. Each mom will get to help pick our upcoming activities.
