Paws Walk - 2012 - Fundraiser for Paws Shelter

Another of the Shelter Fund Raisers that our group participates in annually.  It has changed to Marymoor Park this year:

More details to come.

In addition to being a fun walk in the park, the funds raised at PAWSwalk will help more than 6,000 animals at PAWS over the coming year. From tiny, three-week-old kittens who need round-the-clock care to orphaned Black Bears who can't survive in the wild without their mothers, these are the lives we work to save. We could not do this work without our compassionate supporters. Join us in saving lives, and have a fun time doing it at PAWSwalk! Event Location: King County's Marymoor Park in Redmond

A fun event as always! So many dogs - corgis were well-represented, even though many weren't with our group. :)

Hi guys! I'm writing to let you know that we will have a purebred CORGI available for adoption at PAWSwalk! His name is Tigger, and with the help of a lot of great volunteers, PAWS pulled him from a rural shelter in Utah. We estimate his age at around 10ish, and he is just about as sweet as they come. Find out more information here:

Also, if anyone knows how to send this message out to more of our group, please do. I would love for him to get a great Corgi home :)

ALSO - thanks to all of you for supporting PAWS :)

Remember that you need to register for the PawsWalk at http://www.pawswalk.net in order to participate in the walk! Registration is free (although donations are recommended, of course). Looking forward to seeing a bunch of our corgi friends next Saturday at Marymoor!

How LONG is the actual walk? In what time frame?

Maybe an hour? Depends on how fast you walk. :) Some will finish in well under an hour. The event itself starts before the walk and there are things going on afterwards too. We're usually there for a couple of hours total, roughly.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
