Really sorry to have missed it - especially since it was so close to home. Midge is ok but on 3 days of restricted activity. I was really worried it was something with a disc because she seemed to be having trouble walking and was acting like her back was in pain. But it seems to be just a pulled or strained neck muscle - no idea how she did it. She had an anti-inflammatory injection and that really started to help quickly. And she's getting some pain medication twice a day. She's moving around much better but is avoiding jumping up on the couch and bed - so there must still be some discomfort. I have to remember that she's about 9 years old so technically she's an "older" dog - she's got the same susceptibility to aches and pains as we in the same human age bracket do I guess!
I hope someone adopts the two corgis. Stew and Ben just adopted a real sweet 14 year old girl that they heard about through their vet. Maybe these two will be as lucky!
