I'm going to be in Chicago over the weekend, but I'm hoping to still make it to the meeting. If not, being that I selected this book, I did want to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoy the way that McCullough contrasts the British and American thoughts and actions. One of the things that is so remarkable to me about the events surrounding the revolutionary war is how unlikely it was that the continental army would ever have been victorious.
