Hi Technoshaman - Just wanted to say hi and let you know about a meeting this Saturday (May 4th) which will be following up on our discussions of futurist politics at the Queen's Larder a little over two weeks ago. I hope you are able to make it along this time! Details are here, in the Zero State meetup group: http://www.meetup.com/zero-state/even... "FUTURISM AS POLICY: What should futurists want from political change?" All the Best, Amon

Hi George, I loved watching the conversation between Charles and James. Charles talked about this excitedly last month, and I am connected to the reason for his excitement now. Thanks also for your kind words about the Connection Action Project's efforts. I am happy to have a new friend (Alpha Lo told me about the event). I so look forward to learning with you on the 28th.

Thank you for pointing me to the conversation on scarcity and abundance. I am a bit short of time right now to go deeper into it, but I found some of the distinctions offered quite stimulating. I am personally interested in how one can expand from scarcity to abundance when working with the possibility and the development realms rather than limiting one's approach to what is visibly tangible. I look forward to exploring this in our conversation about the commons and conscious economy.

Hi and thanks for your greeting (-:! I have worked in the NHS on refugee health and equalities for quite a long time. That was an excellent report done by a group of people and I did a chapter. I will check out the health group but I will be out of the UK for most of the year starting from mid-July. While away I will try to make some meetings before I leave and follow what is going on via the internet.

Thanks Technoshamen for the the warm welcome. Solidarity indeed - built on a shared understanding which can ripple out to the 99%.

    See you next week.

Hi George! My PhD work is about the reconfiguration of institutions of private ownership due to easier transactions of renting, borrowing, etc through ICT networks. It's not directly about the commons but I am keenly following developments in that area as well. And I speak a little bit of Drupalese, though only hesitantly!

Hi George. In answer to your question ("Is there any particular field, relaetd to which you'd want to find out how common ownership and management can be implemented?") a practical example: my partner works for a large charity. Apart from arms-length surveys / consultation, how can its beneficiaries be involved in a meaningful way in managing the direction and resources of an organisation that works all over the country and internationally?

Hi George. Thanks for the greeting. I trust all is well post surgery. You're at the forefront of something very significant and exciting here. I'm pleased to join the group in the service of the common good.
