Great info to reinforce my previous understanding. Sorry I had to leave a little early as I was ending an 17 hour day.

I'd like to add another thank you to George Lewis for making his slides available to us. Inasmuch as copyright law is his business, where his time has an expensive pricetag, I think it is very generous of him to have spent the time to put together this presentation and to then take the time to give us such an informative and entertaining talk. Thank you, George.

A big thanks to George for spending time with us. I enjoyed all of the questions and think they made for a very interesting discussion. The presentation and model release have been uploaded to the files section under the "More" tab.

Great information, well presented, clear and informative, questions answered and handled well. My regrets I had to leave a bit early, due to family issues and not the presenter. Recommend if presented again. Thanks to Mike for coordinating.

A very useful and well delivered seminar. The interactive questions were very useful, superbly answered to enlighten and give depth to the sub-topic at hand. Thanks for taking the time to educate us.

For a long time I have been wondering what my rights and responsiblities are as a photographer. Thank you for making it a little more clear. I really enjoyed it. I have downloaded a release and plan to use it soon.

This was the best presentation on copyright law I've ever attended. George explained the ins & outs of copyrights & the laws in very understandable terms. Plus he gave excellent examples to further help us get the importance of registering it! 5 stars to George and 5 to Mike for setting this up. Certainly an evening very well spent.

Thank you for your great stories and helping us understand the world of copyright law. Lots of info that could spin your head, but worth every minute.

    Good and Useful Information
Mike always does a great job in targeting topics we need and want.
The information presented was extremely useful. If this is offered in the future, would suggest that the questions be held until the end...and the demo done much earlier.
    Thanks again.

Don't want to cancel, rather attend but due to post surgery recovery not going as planned I'm regrettably unable to make it. Based on the interest I HOPE you will seriously consider hosting this again!!!!

Something at work has come up and unfortunately I have to back out. Please let someone on the waitinglist replace me.

This is one of the things that confuse me the most. I am looking forward to attending.

I'm sorry I will have to miss this meetup! I was just notified of my son's winning an art award that he will be recognized for Thursday evening. Hopefully someone who is on the waitlist will get to go! I hope I will get the opportunity to learn this information another time.

    Mike,
I will be there, but I can't make it until about 6:30pm at the earliest. I just want to let you know that I'll be late. If there is a problem with that I'm fine with changing my RSVP to no and letting someone on the waitlist take my spot.

7pm is the latest I should be there.

Sigh. Sorry that I have to change my RSVP to no. I had something come up. However, it looks like Reecy's on the wait list all by herself, so maybe this opens up a spot for her. :-)

    Mike,
Thanks for spending your valuable time and acquiring a larger room for this meeting. Looks like most of the people were cleared to go, including Sharon and me. Thanks again.

    Mike,
There seems to be an enormous interest in this topic. If the speaker does not have a restriction of 30 attendees, can you change the room at CTU or find a new venue to accommodate more people. Doug Bennett has previously reserved conference room at East Library which can accommodate many more. Don't know how easy they are to reserve. Just a thought. Thanks for your consideration.

Finding venues is a challenge in itself, and it is very difficult to reserve rooms at the East Library, especially the community room, because bookings have to be made months in advance. Nothing was available there on the dates that fit George's schedule. It turns out that CTU doesn't have a room for us to use, so I am checking with DeVry.

Have you attempted to book a room at the Cheyenne Library? It seems fairly easy to book the meeting room at their location. Just a thought.
