UPDATE: Sooooo, we've kinda become a victim of our own success here. Had a chat with the manager at Duke's and they're much too tiny a venue to accommodate us all. As we wanted Beavertown beer, she recommended we go to the Well & Bucket (http://www.wellandbucket.com), which sounds good to me. There's also the chance to return to the fair climes of BrewDog Shoreditch and it's UnderDog just down the road. I'll organise a different time to go to Duke's, but it'll be limited numbers on a first come first served deal.
Sorry about this, folks, completely understand if you want to bail on the evening (but I hope you don't!)
OUT OF DATE PLANS:
I think we can all agree Beavertown is one of the best London Brewery's. It seems to be consistently, nay, DANGEROUSLY delicious in whatever they do. The Brewery itself is apparently moving premises and opening a new Tap House in April (thanks to Kim for this research and interrogation of the brewer), however I propose (and give us a reason to go visit them twice) we attend their current official abode before then. Duke's Bar and Que hosts "4 keg lines, a cask line and a bunch of [their] core and Alpha bottles in the fridges". Plus apparently tasty (if a tad pricey) barbecue to consume. Tentative date for this one is Saturday 8th February @ 7pm, but if enough folk have issue it can be moved.
