Jewellery Making Session/Broken Jewellery Clinic

2nd session added this month by popular demand! Bring your broken jewellery or other bits and we will help you turn them into something fantastic! Or, start a piece from scratch using the thousands of lovely beads and jewellery findings at your disposal here in our Poet's Corner studio/shop. During this session, we will also focus on creating lovely, simply constructed pieces to give as gifts for the holidays. The Venetian-style glass bead making demonstration at the beginning of the session is also something you won't want to miss!

Cost: £5 includes use of all tools and help with your individual project. Tea and freshly brewed coffee is also included.

*All purchases for materials over £10 will receive a 10% discount

Feel free to bring a sack lunch or snacks to share.

This meet-up is now full. If you have reserved a spot but find that you can't make the meet-up, please be sure to let me know, as there may be others who would like to take your spot. I look forward to seeing you all this Saturday!

Can you bring along unusual things of your own to try and make a piece of jewellery, or do you have to use beads and similar things?

Hi Norman. You are free to bring your own appropriate materials to the workshop. However, please keep in mind that the type of jewellery that we create is assembled by hand using only hand tools and pre-made jewellery fittings. We do not cast, solder, etc. What type of material are you wanting to work with for your project?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
