Not words to get lost in words;
words that point to something more...
Event is on-going- same time, same place...
Thursdays 5-7pm, Friends' Meeting House.
No need to have attended previous sessions- feel free to drop in...
...and please don't feel you need to be of any particular 'standard'- it's YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS TO EXPLORE!
SPIRITUAL POETRY – EXPLORING,
What we'll be doing...
We'll start by sitting, tuning in, coming back to the here and now. Drawing ourselves back in from the whirring of the world outside... relaxing into the space from wherever we've been... coming in from all our different directions.
Then space to write/ finish writing/ get inspired/ whatever you feel, with whatever processes we choose to experiment with. There is always some structure, to work with, knock down or ignore. Starting from the start, finishing near the end, or circling around a bit... working and playing alone or together... it's up to you.
Opening up into sharing, we hold a time and space of mutual support and respect. However that is. Belief, disbelief and hopefully the dark side of judgement aside, we venture into presentation... and we listen. Sitting or standing, one by one, we share the manifest expression we make manifest! One mountain top, many roads up. Many rivers, one sea. The beauty is in the variety of the voices, the varying stages of the journey, the deeply felt, direct experience shared. Bringing the inside out, stepping the bridge between the individual and the Divine, the many and the One, the heart and the mind, we are anchoring ourselves in the meeting ground of the temporal and the Divine... and exploring!
Poetry of Spirit. Not even poetry... just words.
Spirit, from the Silence, into expression...
Let's have it!
The theme we'll be exploring on 15th November (loose theme, explore around it how you wish...):
Hopefully see you there. Feel free to bring pre-written poetry to share as well- especially if it relates to the theme. That always adds a nice element to the mix :-)
You are most welcome to the space, a place of honesty, openness and sharing where we can come together to explore the depths we bring out through the words.
Drop in £3 - No need to book.
Facilitated by Nathan.
