Tae Kwon Do/Martial Arts Shoot at the Dojo!

  • This location is shown only to members

  • Tae Kwon Do Dojo Shoot

If you had fun at the Tae Kwon Do shoot we did at the studio; or if you missed it but want to experience it; now you get another chance, but even better!  Ken has arranged for a demo with multiple shooting stations at the dojo!  Paul and I will have our studio lights there, allowing a few different shooting stations.  Come shoot these warriors in their natural habitat! ;-)  Here are a couple examples of what we'll be shooting:

Bring your cameras and creativity! The shoot is limited to the first 8 photographers to sign up, though, so we're not crowded and all have time to shoot. Please be sure you can make it before you commit so we don't have any wasted spot.

If you would like to shoot any of the team members breaking boards/bricks, those materials will have to be paid for.  It's $2 per broard/brick, and can be paid with cash on site.

    Date/Time: Wednesday, 4/6/2013 1:30pm
Where: Academy of Life and Leadership Taekwondo

    Max participants: 7 (+hosts)

For signed model release (so you can publish pics to Facebook, your website, etc.), you will need to supply our model with 3 finished, hi-res photos.

    Hope to see you there!

Ok to bring our own flash(es)? I've got an older, fully manual Canon 420ez and a pair of Canon knock-off clones (Yonguo YN468) than can function as "dumb optical slaves". I haven't used them enough to have much skill with them, so this might be a good opportunity to get further along on the learning curve. Or is the intention to use the organizer's lighting setups to keep things a bit simpler? I realize it would be unhelpful for one person's flash to trigger another person's flash!

Yep. Bring your own flashes if you'd like. :)
