Are you going to do this again ?

Thanks Charlie for organizing this meet up. This meet up made me want to explore in more in-depth the off-camera flash options.

I've put a suggestion in for using multiple speedlight with Nikon CLS or Radio Triggers meet up. If anyone is interested in learning about CLS, radio triggers and optical slave, please RSVP the meet up suggestion.

I'm all for this Skip....but can it include Canon too?

      September 23, 2013

    • Skip C.

Arnett, I'm not familiar with Canon wireless setup. However, radio trigger and optical slave should work fine with Canon.

Great information! Thanks Charlie. I never thought I'd need the use of lighting outside with the sun but you definitely shed more light on the subject.

Running a few minutes late ... But on my way

I am not going to be able to make it. My car is at BigO tires-no locking lug nut key to put the spare on. I will have to have Big O change the tire out tomorrow.

I am bringing my light meter in hopes that someone knows how to use it. I am ready to throw the darn thing as far as I can. Teacher says we HAVE to use it for our assignments.

Could that 'someone' be me? How could you ever take a picture without a meter reading- that would be like throwing darts in a dark room.

    • Arnett L.

Oh I hope so! Please help!

Sorry Charlie, I'm having to cancel. I've got a Conflict with the pow wow tomorrow. I planned on doing both but it looks like its going to be a problem with entry outside of the group????

Sorry, I thought this was going to be indoor lighting using strobes off the camera and on a tripod. However, looking forward to future classes.

My husband decided he wants to go fishing in the morning since we are going to have such nice weather! So I'm gonna have to stay home with our daughter. I will join the next one though!

I love this place and it's such a great place to go over lighting because of all the different light and shadows here. I look forward to this class very much.

Do you have a ballpark estimate on the length of time for the workshop? It's probably here and I'm just missing it. Thanks!
