Denver Botanic Gardens has partnered with The Butterfly pavilion and created a seasonal butterfly exhibit that houses native Colorado butterflies and plants. Admission into the park is $5 per car so it's best to carpool (Members of the Botanic Gardens get in for free). Entrance into the butterfly house is extra and is $6 for adults and $4 for children and $5 for seniors.
Let's meet at the park and ride west of I-25 at Woodmen and Corporate Center Dr. at 8 am on Saturday August 16th. From there we will carpool to the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. Please help out the ones driving by offering money for gas.
We will be leaving at 8 am sharp so don't be late.
As far as I can tell there are bathrooms and a picnic area but may not be anywhere to purchase food or beverages so bring a cooler with anything you'll need.
As always bring good walking shoes, sunscreen / hat, lots of water and whatever camera gear you want to haul around.
