The playful heart

A creative adventure into who you are

Exploring:  Heart. Body. Expression. Creativity

The Heart

The heart is a source of wisdom, passion and truth. It is what connects us intimately to others. This workshop will explore the heart through creativity, the body and expression.

The Body

To be in our hearts we need to be in our bodies and to be in our bodies in a healthy, nourishing, alive way, we need to be in our hearts. This workshop will offer ways of being more present simultaneously in the heart and the body.

It is natural to want to express what’s inside yet we may have
internalised negative messages around expressing ourselves in an open and clear way. This workshop offers a way of getting out of how we think we should be, which is often something fear based that has become normalised, and instead stepping into who we are.

Creativity is not a concept:  it is an act. It is a process of
transformation, a journey where each moment is a new beginning.  It is the expression of life within our hands, eyes, brain, body, hearts and guts. It cannot be qualified by anyone else and it takes courage in its willingness to  risk failure and ridicule. This workshop will offer ways to celebrate the self through creativity.

What’s involved?

The workshop offers a space to explore the relationship between the self and our hearts and others.  It will be held within a flexible structure of dialogue  creative exercises, movement
and space for sharing.  Some exercises may involve physical contact but this is not obligatory.  If you struggle with physical contact in a way that overwhelms you, please let me know prior to the workshop.

Who is it for ?

This workshop is suitable for anyone who wishes to get closer to
themselves and others in their lives through the heart

No previous experience of therapy/personal growth is necessary but self-reflection and a willingness to engage with others is essential.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
