    Right on. Glad to be in community with you all. I also contribute $ for meetings when it's requested in Meetup/EventBrite registration, or at the door if collected that way, and buy raffle tickets when they're sold. Nothing beats the value I get from attending/volunteering at these meetings/events! Cheers, Todd

    Hey Todd, we always appreciate the time you donate. Thank you for that!

    Thank you very much to Sally & Kelly, for all the time, energy, and enthusiasm they share with the creative/design community :) The user group meetings & events at Adobe have benefited my life in many ways: increasing my connection to peers & networking, improving my knowledge of best practices, and picking up tons of amazingly useful tips & tricks. I sometimes volunteer to help at/for some of these meetings/events, and always find it to be totally worth my time & energy :) Cheers, Todd

    And if your initial comment had been "kinder", you wouldn't have struck a nerve with us, Joshua. Let's all move on . . . and thanks to Kelly for all her hard work in putting these CS6 Launch events together.

    Joshua, we are giving you a hard time because your opinion poops on all our hard work. (We all have bills

    Sally and I have done Adobe user group events for the last 3 years. We have NEVER made money from these. We simply want to support the Adobe community. Sally and I donate MANY hours every month to our members planning, speaking, marketing and hitting up sponsors for money

    Why am i getting attacked for stating my opinion people. lol. again I'm not attacking sally people. relax.

    Thanks to my loyal peeps for their support, as always. For the record, Adobe user groups are not entitled to anything. Adobe kindly offers occasional software for raffles. Because we are in San Jose, we get free meeting space and free parking. I have to supply food, raffle prizes and all supplies. Speakers donate their time and travel. I organize all events by myself, including photowalks and Photoshop challenges. How this clears up a few misconceptions. Joshua, I hope you can make it to the eve

    im not saying you're not doing a great job. they have been free in the past i thought Adobe was fully sponsoring these. im a full time student not working with a bunch of student loans. fyi.

    Thanks for your thoughts, Dee. I will connect with you offline.

    You're doing a great job! And when you consider that a normal movie at the imax cost at least $10, $20 for a private event is nothing. Please contact me off list if you need any sponsorship help. I've worked with a couple of professional photography orgs developing sponsors

    Thank you for your comment, Dotty. This is hard work, putting these events together. I am a single mother, running my own company and putting all these events together FOR NO PAY. It's nice to have a little appreciation once in a while.

    I am retired and this is well worth the fee. Most of you have very good jobs. Think of it is great professional development.

    I am paying $5000 for use of the iMax Theatre, and Adobe is kicking in thousands of dollars in prizes. Every participant will receive a gift bag. We have one of the top video speakers donating his time. Some of you are just never happy. If you don't want to pay the $20, don't come.

    pretty lame that we have to pay for this.

    Challenge accepted...the fee doesn't phase me. Looking forward too it. Will this enhance the 3D?? Just kidding. looking forward to it.

    Kelly you never have to buy any of the products to attend our meetings. THIS is the meeting to learn about new features. Kelly and I can both train you later, but we aren't free. :)

    Absolutely! That's such a key component, we definitely need to address it. Thanks.

    Sally, let me know if we should also show and/or talk about the CS6 Creative Cloud subscription for $49.95 a month (much cheaper than buying CS6, up front): https://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/store/html/index.cfm?store=OLS-US&;
