Re: [creativesuitesanjose] Lightroom 3 This Tuesday, Photowalk Follow up and Announcements

Thanks again for your help with the leaf.
I have a MacBook Pro, IPhoto'09, & Aperture 3.
Would it be possible to compare Aperture 3 to Lightroom 3?
I may break down and switch if there are significant differences.
As you know I have CS5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, &nDreamweaver) -- so -  I am Apple first and Adobe second right now.

My Regards to both you & Sally
Norma Barron.

Hello Fellow Adobe Enthusiasts,

Before I begin, please pardon the lenghty email, I have a lot so share! We are gearing up for this Tuesday's Lightroom event, you're coming, right? Here is why you should:

We will be raffling off a copy of Adobe's latest and greatest version of Lightroom among other raffle items, and Lachelle Via, one of our members, will be generously providing us with Pizza. Also, another fellow UG member, Jason Eskridge, will be giving us some key workflow tips and tricks that assisted him in writing his book *372 pages, 600 chosen images out of 22,784 total!* He will share with us how Lightroom made it possible.

Please finalize your RSVP today, space is filling up fast.

If you joined us on Scott Kelby's worldwide Photowalk last Saturday, you've been invited to view an exclusive Lightroom 3 webcast presented by Scott Kelby himself. * You must have registered for the walk on the WWPW website to view this* You can view the link here:

You can also view Scott Kelby's Lightroom 3 Learning Center here:

And Check out Photoshop Cafe's Lightroom 3 launch page as well:

If you haven't already done so, please upload your photowalk pictures to our meetup site. Go to and click on "Photos" Then add your chosen images to the Wordwide Photowalk Album. Currently, we have 61 photos uploaded! We will also be sharing them on Tuesday's meeting so if you'd like yours to be seen, please upload them before Tuesday.

You can view this event online from the comfort of your home by going to this URL on Aug 3 at 5:30pm :
