DIY Crafts!

Once again, CLP-Brookline hosts DIY Crafts for adults! Come join many creative minds and create something new with your own two hands. It can be anything from knitting to cross stitch, from painting to paper crafts, and so on. The possibilities are unlimited, it's up to you to decide what you want to create! Make it for yourself or for someone else as a gift (don't handmade gifts have more sentimental value than bought one?), or just make something for fun.

Basic supplies will be available, along with some additional materials, along with coffee and tea for refreshments. I will be sharing ideas up until the meet up day, but I want you guys to pitch in anything that comes to mind. Feel free to ask me what I have on hand that I could provide for you.

ALSO! This is for all ages of adults and nobody is obligated to participate in the projects if you would like to bring your own work. I've had members come in to make their own notebooks, cross stitching pieces, and crochet before, please feel welcome to bring in any materials or projects you would like to do.

Feel free to message me with any questions, I will do my best to answer and accommodate to all of your inquiries. :)

NEW! We have some ideas being thrown around for this week's session if you guys are interested in doing something new:

One, thanks to Lynda, is another tile/coaster idea! However, this time it involves transferring photographs to tiles! Check out this link for more information:

One other craft, thanks to another crafter, found this on pinterest, which are lip balm/chapstick holders. The project looks relatively simple and the design is pretty cute too.

Also, if anyone comes up with a really cool Valentine's Day theme craft, this would be great to create this weekend! I was thinking making cards in different styles (with stamps, papers, vintage images, flair, etc), but please let me know if you come up with anything else!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
