CLP-Brookline would like to welcome and allow your guys to bring in any of your own projects to work on in a free, cool, large space in the library! Need to get away from home or just simply work in a different environment? We also offer plenty of arts & crafts books to browse (and free to check out if you have a library card or would like to sign up for one, which is also totally free).
Additionally, snacks and drinks are allowed to be brought in, as long as the snacks are not messy and the drinks have lids. We just want to offer a comfortable space for crafty minds to get together and envision their projects in front of them with zero pressure.
On that note, Brookline is going under some construction at the moment, so please read the following: There is parking on the Boulevard itself, however it is METER PARKING (so bring quarters!). Otherwise, you can park on the residential streets for free (us employees park on Berkshire, which is relatively close behind the library), but mind that if your projects are heavy, you will be walking.
We offer basic supplies and materials, if you happen to forget anything or would like to borrow anything. Feel free to message me with any questions. If you're more interested in the crochet/knitting aspect of crafts, we will have a delighted lady, Denise, on hand to be more than happy to teach, help, or just have yarn fun alongside with you!
Hope to see you there!
