Make a Fake Hand

In this Special Effects Series workshop, you will use industry-standard Smooth-On Body Double silicone to create a realistically creepy copy of your own hand! You will then get to cast a prosthetic-grade gelatin copy of your hand and learn light painting techniques to create your own awesome finished piece!

This mold can be used over and over again to cast silicone, gelatin, ice, chocolate or anything else you can think of! Make creepy props for Halloween and learn pro tips and tricks from our instructor.

Instructor Profile: Tim Currence is a Dream Consultant at TechShop Pittsburgh and a Special Effects Designer. Tim has extensive background in the special effects field and has a Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Visit his online portfolio to see his work!

Price: $80 plus $20 Materials Fee
