Business Networking -- La Canada -- Come & Build Your Field of Referral Dreams

  • Come meet our members and guests. We think you'll want to stay. You'll feel the energy.

  • Each week one of our members gives a 10-minute presentation about his or her company and profession.

  • This week we will be hearing from our chiropractor, Dr. Artin Khodadadi. Artin is just as concerned about helping us stay well and pain free as he is in helping us become well and pain free after we have in some way injured ourselves. So we are sure to hear about things we can do and small changes we can make in our lifestyles to stay pain free. I always look forward to hearing him speak because chiropractic is such a large part of his heart and soul. Come and hear about what small changes can have a large effect on keeping us all well and pain free. See you there!

Our Chiropractor, Artin Kodadadi, spoke at this meeting. His stressed that repetitive motion can be the cause of pain and swelling and lead to a restrictive range of motion and being less active. Once we are less active, we can experience muscle weakness and a loss of heart and lung function. To counteract this, there are exercises and stretches that he can design to relieve the stress on particular muscle and tendon groups and recreate the necessary balance to keep us active. For instance, strong abdominal muscles can take a lot of the strain of the back. Depending on the exact motion that is creating the problem, he may be able to suggest small changes in the way in the motion is executed that can make a huge difference in the amount of stress caused to the body. Those who were absent missed a great presentation. And you'll just have to wait until he is next scheduled to make the presentation. You don't want to miss his next presentation.
