I've been a secular humanist/atheist since my teens, so approximately 15 years. Like a lot of people, I didn't have an epiphany moment when I knew I was no longer a believer, I just realized over time that religion didn't make sense to me on any level. Since then, I've been very supportive of secular causes, like separation of church and state, quality science education, and minimizing the intrusion of religion and superstitions into government and public life.

Hi, I'm Rebecca. I recently moved here from Columbus, OH which had fairly active humanist, skeptic, and atheist groups and it'd be great to be able to participate in social events, volunteering, activism, and hanging out like I did there.
