Dearest friends, I know I haven't got to meet everyone yet, but I would like to share with you some sad news, I've been diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer today, so I may not be able to schedule lots of meetups over the next few months depending on surgery and treatments I have.

This group will still keep going and is open to any suggested meetups from you all as always, Mike will run things a bit more than me if I'm doing chemo or anything like that, but please keep your ideas for social fun coming. It's great when we all come together. One of the most popular meetups is board game night, in my house it has been successful and although a cosy house we have had up to 15 gamers :)
If any of you feel comfortable enough to welcome people into your home and host the potluck game night that would be greatly appreciated!

Oh yes and if anyone would like to host the wednesday triva nights at Fiddlers Green, that would be great too.

Thanks so much, San and Mike

Hey everyone, all your messages of support are very touching. The first doctor who diagnosed me with Lymphoma sent me to another Neck and Head cancer specialist and now while they've not ruled out Lymphoma completely they have found in my biospy resutls malignant Squamous Cell Carcinoma, which has also got high survival rates. I will be needing some invasive robotic surgery, and exploratory surgery to find first cause lesion, right now it's still a mystery because my tumor in my neck is the secondary, I'll be having lymph nodes removed, Pet scan and radiation treatment. Anyways, one step at a time, it all happens in about 2 weeks, in the meantime I will life as normal and still come to meetups and keep up with my driving lessons :) Thank-you everyone xoxox

Hey everyone, here is an update. I had surgery on 2nd August, they did tonsilectomy, tongue biopsy, larynscopy and removed 37 lymph nodes in their search for cancer cells in my neck, after all that they only found one tumor, but although extremely painful and depressing for a couple of weeks, morphine, vicodin and a bottle of hydrcodone to take home I now feel good and back on solid food and living pain killer drugs free. My neck is still a bit weird and I can't turn it fast but I've healed really quickly.
I will be going to see a radiologist on 23rd Aug, they're thinking to give me about 6 weeks radiation for any lurking hidden malignant cells, but it's looking like I beat this thing in record time and will be back to meetup fun in no time!
Again thankyou for all your messages of support xoxox
