Emerge Miami is excited to ride with you for our annual loooooong trip, celebrating the end of Miami's Bike Month. We will ride alongside the busway to Cauley Square, an historic arts and vendors village at south 224th along US-1. Enjoy arts, crafts, local businesses, snacks, and the nicest little teahouse in Homestead.
Riders who would like an extra set of miles to add to their accomplishments for the day are welcome to join several Emergers for an optional group down to Florida City and Robert is Here, a fruit and juice stand that is an icon of the Redlands. Those who wish to return to Dadeland South will have an Emerge escort, as well.

We will meet at Dadeland South at 10 AM. This ride will be roughly 40 miles for the Cauley Square group, and over 60 for those who stay on to Robert is Here.

Cruiser and mountain bikes are discouraged for this ride, due to its length. Please be prepared by dressing comfortably, wearing sunscreen, and bringing plenty of water!

Please keep up with our meetup for this ride, in case of weather updates.

Good ride, but too slow. Cauley Square & Robert Is Here are good ideas, regardless.

I love this ride. For some reason, today, I couldn't find the correct Metrorail station and missed the ride. Will definitely be there next time. Trust everyone loved it and thanks to the organizers.

Hello everyone, i noticed that quite a few people are concerned with needing a hearse for the return trip from cauley square, so i hope this idea helps.
Metro Bus #38 departs from 224th st every 15 minutes. so lets say we arrive at 12 noon, and you want to head back on the bus, the first one is at 1235pm, the next at 1250pm, and so on. and it will take you all the way to dadeland south station. ;-)

Because bikes fit well in a hearse You don't have to take the wheels off.

Although I've done the math on both versions of this trip, do you have a better idea on the roundtrip estimate for each ride? More specifically, if we leave by 10:30 at the latest, when will you have us back to Dadeland South? And if some of us should die on the way there or back, will you provide emergency response and/or a hearse? Your responses will determine my RSVP. Thanks.

Well, then. I'm in. I guess the good news is that if any of us should find ourselves at a loss for breath, Colin can always guide us directly into the nearest hospital lobby like he did on that river ride.

Should we all bring some extra $$ to chip in for hearse money. Just as a contingency, that is :-D

The ride is going to Cauley Square is about 30 miles round trip from Dadeland South and if you continue down to Robert is here you can tack on another 15 miles. You can always jump on the bus at the busway if you have to be somewhere or get tired.

I think the Renaissance festival starts on Saturday at Cauley Square. Careful with traffic down there and enjoy the festival!

We usually keep a pace of 12-14mph, depending on the group we can pick it up a bit but we aren't racing.

How fast will the group be riding?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
