I was about 6 years old when I learned my first stitch.
I always have several projects going at once, some of which I haven't touched in years (bad me!). I tend to get bored with one project, especially if it is all made from the same color.
My grandmother passed it on to my mother and they both passed it on to me. I find it very relaxing once I get comfortable with a pattern.
I used to always use Red Heart yarn. This group has enabled me to branch out and try some new things. I'm currently working with hand-dyed alpaca. I like patterns that have written instructions and not just diagrams! I don't do well without a pattern.
I'm Erika. I'm the founder and organizer of NoVA Crocheters. We've been meeting for over seven fabulous years now. I'm happy that I've been able to meet so many wonderful friends.
