It's time for our Semi-Annual Twisted Stitchers Yarn Swap! Got leftovers from a recent project? Any skeins you look at and ask yourself "what did I ever see in that yarn?" Bring them to our get-together, and let your yarn find a new home. Any unclaimed yarn will go to our favorite local charity project, which makes items for the neonatal intensive care unit at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick.
And bring your current crochet and/or knit project, new acquisitions of yarn and patterns, and your favorite finished objects, and meet other yarn lovers. We offer good conversation and plenty of enthusiasm! Join one of the project CALs (crochet-a-longs) or KALs (knit-a-longs), enjoy occasional demonstrations, and suggest ideas for activities and trips.
We'll meet once again at the Highland Park Senior/Youth Center. There's plenty of free parking for those who come by car. If you're taking public transportation, check the message board to get info about bus routes that go from New Brunswick train station to Highland Park. As always, we ask everyone to contribute $1 to the group to help cover MeetUp fees. If you're short, just chip in another time. First timers: no charge and welcome to the group!
