Our Service Projects completed in October and November resulted in 10 afghans, 78 ornaments, 4 garlands, several pair of slippers, helmet liners for the soldiers; 4 baby blankets and 2 child blankets for Project Linus and 9 baby hats for the nursery babies at Wake Med. Thank you to everyone who helped out with this years projects!
Come join us for an evening of crochet. We welcome newcomers and always love to teach those that are new or rusty on their skills. We have a great group of women and enjoy our chatting.
We meet at Panera Bread near Best Buy (on Capital Blvd). It is quiet in the evenings and we should be able to sit together without any problems. Their pastries, salads, soup and sandwiches are great! Please remember to be considerate of our host meeting place. We are a large group going in there and at the least many of us just get something to drink.
Be sure to RSVP for the meetings as they fill quickly! If your plans change be sure to change your RSVP as I try to make nametags for each meeting. See you there!!
Frantically finishing projects for the holidays? We will have free time in December to work on these. Also, if anyone has more charity projects I will continue collecting them.
They offer a great meeting place for us!
