I'll be standing by the Historical Disctrict sign on the corner of Ford/Hessler The Hessler Street Fair is an annual community arts and music festival, celebrating its 40th year on historic Hessler Street in Cleveland's University Circle. It is a family-friendly event, showcasing local artists, food, musicians and poets. The Fair is one of Cleveland's most successful, attracting upwards of 10,000 visitors each year. Running from noon to dusk, Saturday and Sunday, it features a diverse mixture of musical styles and venues, and is a non-profit, volunteer-run weekend, focused on celebrating community, arts and culture.
http://hesslerstreet.... Basically I wanted to get the Festival season off and running as quickly as I could. And this one can be lots of fun. As we get closer to the event check out the music and vendor schedule. Its a nice way to spend a spring Sunday afternoon.

I was a little disapointed - had thought the fair would be a bit more kid-friendly then it turned out to be. I'd brought my "Little Sis" and neice/nephew and they were rather bored...

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
