The Greek Festival on West 14th. Cultural Festival Season Has Started!!!!!

Alright, here we go-cultural festival season is finally here. And this is a biggee, a 4 day Greek Festival at the oldest Greek Orthodox Church in the area, established in 1913. Were going Saturday Late Afternoon as Im going to try to move the times around a bit to fit people's schedules and lifestyles. If you are interested there will be a tour of the church at 4 and 6, and a folk dancing presentation at 5 and 7. Ive never been to this one but the other Greek Festivals Ive been to in the area had a whole lot of great Greek food as well as a good selection of Greek wine, beer and liquor. Although just as an FYI, the Greek Whiskey from Crete does not go down really smooth. Im just sayin........... http://www.annunciati...

It was great to experience the original Greek Festival. And great to be able to join others who were interested, as well.

Good food..enjoyed the cultural touchs via the traditional dancing, and also the historical bit with the tour of the church.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
