The Greek Festival on West 14th!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey All, Just a few notes. As some have noted the Festival doesn't start getting really hopping til until around 6, I'm still going to go at 3 and maybe check out some of the Hellenic Dancers (Usually both from the Church's Youth Groups although broken up into Young Kids and Teenagers) and do the tour of the Church. The Nightlife Group is meeting there later that night and Ill be organzing that as well so I'll be there all day. For those asking about it being kid friendly, while there are a few bars set up for adult beverages it doesnt turn into a party til really late at night-so its very family orientated at the time we are meeting. Come at 3 if you'd like or join us later, its up to you. I'll be under the big tent outside at 3:00, just look for me-in the group shot (From last year's Greek Festival by the way) Im the one in the light blue shirt and my picture is right there with my RSVP. If you cant find me or wander in later just call me at[masked]-3118. With Nightlife we have 28 Yes and 35 Maybe RSVP, which means we might have 10 people and we might get 50. But regardless, it'll be fun Hey All, The Greek Festival on West 14th is one of the best, if not THEE best, Cultural festival of the year. The picture on our home page is of the festival. Is a blast and attended by just a ton of people. And it goes on all day. Til Midnight actually. I'll publish a schedule of entertainment as soon as the event lists it, but they have live music, plenty of food and drink (Anirban and I discovered our love of Metaxa there last year). You gotta try the Lamb and Pastries as well. Around 9pm there is wall to wall people at the event just having a good time. Fantastic food, great drinks, live music, dancing-one heck of a good time. http://www.annunciati...

Yes, the event is at a church; so it is a family-oriented atmosphere. And the Festival goes on all weekend; 3pm is just the time when the group meets.

Does anyone know if the event is kid-friendly? Also, does the festival begin at 3, or is it the meeting time? I would like to come later, but I haven't met anyone from the group yet, so it will probably be not easy to find.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
