There is a park right when you enter Little Italy from the Euclid Ave direction-its called Tony Brush Park. Its entrance is on the corner of Mayfield and Random Road. Ill be there, on that very street corner from 7:00-7:15, after that whoever is there and I will set off into Little Italy and you'll have to text me at[masked]-3118.
The four-day Feast of the Assumption is a wonderful mix of religion and secular fun. The entire length of Mayfield Road, between Euclid Avenue and Cleveland Heights is closed off to traffic. In its place are carnival rides, delicious Italian-themed food vendors, arts and crafts booths, and live music stages, playing everything from rock to "It's Amore."In addition, there are fireworks at night and a procession on August 15 (But getting people out on a school night is tough I know). Just as everyone is a little Irish on St. Patrick's Day; everyone in Cleveland is a little Italian during the Feast of the Assumption. The event draws more than 100,000 visitors each year.
