The museum will be celebrating Solstice on Saturday June 19th into the wee hours: Celebrate the longest day of the year with an all-night party welcoming the newest galleries. Showcasing Ancient Near East, Greek, Roman, and Egyptian art; Byzantine, medieval, and African art; prints, drawings, and much more
http://www.clemusart.... has all the info. The tickets for the full day are a bit too pricey for my taste, but there are tickets for 7:30pm entry at $40 member/$60 general and for 10pm entry at $15. The music and dancing go on to 2am. Should be some fun! Just so everyone knows, Kerrie and I (Otherwise known as your "Leadership Team) Will probably go the 10pm route. I was there last year at 10 and it was all kinds of worth it. If enough people who RSVP email me and tell me they are doing the 7:30, Id probably go earlier. But for now its 10pm.
