Hey All, Anirban, the brown guy with the black glasses in the photo on the right, will be gathering people up in front of Trattoria's around 8 to 8:15. He also suggests parking over at Case and making the 10 minute walk because parking can be a bear. Ill be there later and will send out an email with more contact Info. Little Italy's Feast of the Assumption is one of the liveliest summer festivals in Cleveland, and it's especially fun at night! The Feast is a celebration of Italian-American culture and a Catholic holiday, but no matter what your affiliation or ethnicity, this street celebration welcomes everyone with open arms. There are many food and beverage booths lining the street, so expect lots of pasta, Italian sausage, and cannoli! I'm also pretty sure that alcohol is served, but I will need to double-check on that. But wait...there's more! Like any good festival, there will be music, carnival games, and local vendors showcasing their wares. Finally, this is a family-friendly event, so unlike many of our other Meetups, feel free to bring your children along. There truly is something for everyone! Closer to the date we'll set up a meeting place, I chose Trattoria's for now as its a place we've already met at and it'll give those people who don't know where Little Italy is a way to find it.
