Cleveland Russian Festival

Russian Food, Russian Beer, Vodka Tasting. A Dance Troup all the way from St. Petersburg.

Basically us immersing ourselves in a culture that most of us probably have very little experience with. There are tours of their historic church, both Russian Dancing and a pretty good Russian Folk Music Trio and planty of opportunities to experience Russian Culture.

Last years festival was amazing, and as they just got called out in a Plain Dealer article about the best summer festivals in Cleveland Im expecting an even better time.

Once again, I couldn't make this meet-up. Sorry, not trying to be a party pooper, just trying to cram too much in over the weekend. Thai sounds good - count me in.

This was a really fun time. Thanks to everyone for making my daughter and me feel welcome! Let's plan a Thai adventure soon.

Thanks, Calvin. I'll play it by ear. If she gets distracting, I will go off and just do something with her, no problem. Thanks! (-:

Well, Sunday is more family friendly that Friday and Saturday Night. I cant see anyone having an issue with it.

Hi Calvin, is it OK to bring my 6-year-old daughter with me? I was not sure if that would be a faux pas ... I'm kinda new to the meetup thing.

If the weather is questionable Id still show-there is a large tent and building and Im sure we'll still have a good time.

Its also been my experience that first timers show up at a 50/50 rate. I assume they just sort of get a little self conscious because they dont know anybody. Dont-we're nice. Come and have a good time.

    Hello All,

I scouted it the festival grounds and as per usual there is a large white tent outside. I shall be outside, at the South West Corner of the Tent at 3PM. Not, the festival starts Sunday at 3, so it probably wont be going full force then-and their website doesnt give a schedule of church tours and entertainment. So 2pm isnt a set in stone time. Show up when ya can, Ill be there most of the day-if not all day. If you cant find us call my cell at[masked]
