Frustrated about the economy and what you read about everyday in the paper? Take Action! Volunteer at the 18th Annual Homeless Stand Down 2009 What? The dignity affirming Stand Down services over 2,000 people facing poverty and homelessness. Guests enjoy haircuts, massages, 17 different health screenings, over 30 social service providers, personal hygiene products, bus passes and new winter clothing, live entertainment, breakfast and a hot lunch.
