For those of you who came I hope you enjoyed the event. Sorry if members were not able to meet up with one another. This was my first time suggesting a meetup. I thought having a Meetup table where members could find one another and leave a message on the message board if they need to relocated to another locations would suffice... but maybe not. Saturday I met with a few people from the Japanese Meetup group but the list I had for this group went missing from the table by early afternoon. On Sunday, I placed out a sign for the meetup group to meet at Black & White Cafe with the dry erase memo board letting people know where I would be at the DJ table by the stage. But the cafe reported that no one from the group came up. So for the next meetup. I'd like to suggest the Cleveland Asian Festival on May 18 & 19 on Payne Avenue & E. 27th-30th. Please message me if you would like to host the meetup and I can provide you with details of the event to help you plan.

Hi Lisa. Drove down but I couldn't find the place. Maybe I was on the wrong street.

There will be a table just behind the audience with a red table cloth and a dry erase board for members to leave notes with one another of where they are if not at the table. Today's table was shared and staffed with the Japanese Meetup group. Who's coming on Sunday? 10:30-11 a.m. would be a good time to come and find parking and catch some of the performances before meeting up at 1 p.m. There are two suggestions for a place to meet-up. If you want to be closer festivities, I would recommend meeting up in the first room just right of the main entrance (where the Go Games are being played). Or meeting at the Black & White Cafe just left of the top of the stairs if you have a larger group. You can get coffee or tea for a small donation.

You can check in there to help everyone get in touch. 11 a.m. on Sat. is a good time to meetup as it won't be as crowded and enjoy some of the food from the food truck Umami Moto, or Siam Cafe, Flavors of India, Miega Korean BBQ, or Pho 99 and sit together at the tables provided before seeing the performances. Firecrackers then Lion Dance followed by Taiko Drums. You'll know when it starts. There's Free Parking in lots A (E. 38 & Superior), B, & C (E. 38) and overflow parking at Tyler Village (E. 36 just north of Superior).
