Hi Calvin,

I was at the restaurant door until 11:00. Made name tags for everyone, but no one show up. I also reserved a table for eight, but changed to a table for two after 11:00.
Next time I think would be a good idea to let the members call to let us know that they are not coming.
My husband and I had a good time, love the dragon show, thanks for organizing the trip.

Hi, Calvin. I'll be missing the next book club (again) because I'll be out of town (again), but I did want to suggest a book for a future book club meeting that I hope to be able to attend:

"Whip Smart" by Melissa Febos. It's a memoir of a former dominatrix who now teaches writing. I heard a great interview with her on NPR.

Hi Calvin. Read a very positive review of "Chavs: The Demonization of the Working Class" by Owen Jones in the NY Times today. Might be a good book for some future month.
