Free Entrepreneur Resources for Startups and Businesses

We ♥ New York... and New York loves entrepreneurs. Did you know that there are extensive resources available to you to help you launch and grow your business here?

In partnership with the Women Business Starters Meetup group, we are very happy to bring you another free panel aimed at New York entrepreneurs and those considering launching their own businesses.

The following panelists have graciously agreed to participate:

Helene Rude, Director of Educational Programs, SUNY Levin Institute.
Helene will share information and answer questions about SUNY's wonderful (and free!) FastTrac and JumpStartNYC programs. Have you ever wondered whether you have what it takes to be an entrepreneur? No, there is no app for that.. but SUNY has an intensive program that will enable you to make that decision.

James Venia, Account Manager, NYC Business Solutions (See here if you are launching a business).
James will discuss the free tools available to business owners and those considering setting up their business in the world's capital. These resources will help you develop your idea, launch your business, and ensure its success and longevity.

Alexandra Chou, Founder, Infin8llc.com.
Those who attended our September 5th panel will know the dyamic Alex who moderated this highly successful event. This time around, she will be a panelist. Alex left a successful Wall Street career behind to found a company that "provides financial and business solutions for the everyday woman and female entrepreneur."

Moderator to be announced.

Due to a last minute mix-up in venue reservations, we have had to move this event to an alternate space. The good news is that the new location is a lounge that serves alcohol (Sorry! No open bar), and there is room for several more people. All you have to do is RSVP. This is still a free event.

The panelists will be happy to answer all your questions related to their respective fields of expertise during the event, but please also feel free to email me at [masked] with any questions that you think require special attention.
