CRYONICS is the practice of preserving people at ultra-low temperature for possible revival in a distant future, when science can cure all disease, can rejuvenate old people to a condition of perpetual youth, and can reverse all damage due to the preservation process.

If you are interested to discuss cryonics and related topics such as life extension, anti-aging, physical immortality, mind uploading, transhumanism you are welcome to join the group.

As of August, 2014 we now have a full set of standby equipment brought together with generous contributions from Alcor Life Extension Foundation, The Cryonics Institute, and private donors. Our primary purpose, now, extending across Ontario and Quebec, is to develop and refine a standby protocol, and a trained group of individuals, who would provide this vital service to Canadian cryonicists. Canada does not yet have the capacity to store cryonics patients It however is well positioned to assist in the decision making stages when one is considering cryopreservation for a loved one or themselves, providing non partisan advocacy for the client, and preliminary stabilization and standby of Canadian patients, as vitally needed adjuncts to existing cryonics infrastructure.

Please check in frequently for social events as well as training days. We welcome the cryo-curious to come along, and are always happy to address your questions or concerns.

You can check for other cryonics-related events in Toronto on the web page of The Cryonics Society of Canada.
