Ahmed Yearwood, the owner and founder of Y INTERACT, has been speaking to many of his clients about the intersection of social media and mobile (or, as he calls it, "mocial"), and the value of branded content within that space.

Join CS-NYC as Ahmed as he presents some useful case studies and discusses the value of branded content across multiple platforms.

Ahmed Yearwood is the owner and founder of Y INTERACT, a New York City-based design studio that works with clients on planning, building and maintaining the various elements of today’s communications universe, including website development, mobile and social media apps, animation, video production, and graphic design. Before starting Y INTERACT in 2001, Ahmed oversaw interactive media and online research at the Financial Times in London, followed by New York. Ahmed graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Economics. He can be found on Twitter: @ahmedley and @YINTERACT.

I thought the presentation was a bit brief and I was not overly impressed by the content. The networking in the beginning and the Q&A were the most beneficial portions of this event. Also, I did not love the beginning 10 minutes of the presentation when he was essentially "selling" his company to us. However, at the end of the night I did walk away with some new perspectives.

I thought the presenter was engaging, but I didn't feel he had a well-defined and original premise. I was hoping to hear a more detailed discussion of how considerations of "mocial" and branded content inform your content strategy approach. Still, it was very nice mingling with other content strategists, and I appreciate the work that went into organizing this event.

Some interesting points but also quite basic content. The presenter added much more value / showed more expertise when answering questions.
