I'm a critical thinking humanist with an avid interest in creating elegant products that are practical yet technically on the cutting edge. I'm interested in solving problems that make life easier for folks so they can attend to more important things---like enjoying life more.
I am currently in between contracts, but working on several freelance web design and content creation projects. I'm also taking several classes in UX design, usability, marketing analytics, and color theory. My goal is to find a full time job as a content strategist/usability specialist/web writer for either an agency (specializing in large/medium/small clients) or inhouse at a medium-sized internet company.
I would like to socialize and network with other folks working as CSs in the industry. There are a lot of extremely talented, fun, intelligent, and geeky folks working in this area. I'm also interested in finding a collaborator to write a book with me.
A couple of thoughts in this regard: 1) I would be happy to offer volunteer services (e.g., write up a newsletter; present a talk at a venue, etc.) 2) I have a few book ideas in mind (as of yet, don't really want to disclose the subject matter until I've fleshed the structure out a bit more) 3) I would love to help other folks find positions. Network.
Hello--my name is Rose Reynolds. I've been a professional writer for roughly 15 years. During that time I've been a technical writer, content manager, project manager, copywriter, editor, information architect, and content strategist.
