Introduction

My name is David. I work at a social media marketing company and I've been recommending for months that we hire a Content Strategist (instead of another "Content Developer"). Would love to mingle with the real deal.

We'd like to know just a little about who you are and what you're looking for. With that in mind, would you please tell us in one or two sentences what you do for a living?

I do IT, media management and some UX design at a social media marketing firm in Manhattan.

If it's not clear from your first answer, are you already practicing content strategy in your work?

I am not a practicing content strategist, no.

Could you tell us what you're hoping to gain from participation in CSNYC?

I'd like to learn better how to integrate CS into my UX design strategies.

Last question. Any ideas about how you might contribute to this group and/or to the field in general?

As I mentioned above, I am not in any way a practicing content strategist. However, I see it as an integral element in experience design, and so I will take any opportunity to ask questions, which hopefully will illuminate the practice for everyone.
