For a my first monthly meeting I thought it was extremely unfriendly to a newcomer. The night had very little to do with what I believed to be the CSA's agenda and more about hobnobing with potential political office holders.... I left after 2 hours but did manage to have a good conversation with a few fellow members.....not in suits and ties.

The so-called "Third Party Club" no longer welcomes third parties!
(It is now the "2.5 party club".)

It has been taken over by the political bosses of the two big parties, and their cross-endorsing cronies in the parasite parties (which never run 3rd-party candidates without permission of the big-party bosses).

At recent meetings, independent candidates (as well as insurgents who enter primaries) were snubbed. Eddie Walsh now has veto power over who gets to be introduced.
