Happy Hour @ Baltimore Yacht Club at 5:30-10:30 PM on Thu, 9/12 /13

Wow I lost count at 120 but with POSSIBILITY of  a shower in the PM, usually means maybe 100 people if we are lucky. You need to know someone to get in here so Jim H is inviting everyone to enjoy the evening here. Not Just Singles(Everyone).

You are cordially invited to attend a Happy Hour at the beautiful Baltimore Yacht Club located on Sue Island, 800 Baltimore Yacht Club Rd, Baltimore, MD 21221. BYC is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the intersection of the Baltimore Beltway I-695 and I-95 on the northeast side of Baltimore.

BYC offers an incredible view of the sunset over Sue Creek and panoramic views Middle River and the Chesapeake Bay, all the way to the eastern shore. Visit http://www.baltimoreyachtclub.org/ for pictures, menus and directions.

Free snacks, $1.50 (Coors Light), premium drafts $2.25, rail drinks $4, lite fare at great prices and a full dinner menu. The bar opens at 5 pm. Food service from 6 to 8 pm. Prices are good all evening and are before tax and tip, which are automatically added to the individual’s tab, so no need to add a tip when you pay. Meet fellow CSA members, members of other sailing clubs and meetup groups and guests. Enjoy the great views, food, drinks and socialization. Please feel free to bring any friends who may be interested in sailing.

Note: The gate should be open when you arrive. If it is not, please pickup the phone and say you are here for the happy hour.

Please park in the Visitors Parking Area to the left after entering the gate. The Happy Hour is in the clubhouse at the top of the hill. Hope to see you there.

Well 120 was not going to happen because of the rain but 78 was still a good showing and the crab cake was big and tasted great. I think this is a fantastic place to have a meetup with the atmosphere being near the water with fantastic views. I am getting a lot of "great time norm, thanks" this morning. If you missed it we will be back here next June. My thanks to Jim Harrison who made this happen for all of us

I had a really nice time! There are so many wonderful people in these groups - you never know who you wil meet and what you may have in common. Main topics of last night's conversation - Painting and Poetry. :) I am looking forward to getting to know more members. Thanks for arranging this event and for those who braved the wt weather to attend. :)

We will meet in the inside bar area and the outside area can be viewed there. Last time it started in the bar and only 2 people were outside but with a fantastic day you couldn't get a seat outside with over 60 on the deck area which over looks the bay and river there. If rain I will be in the bar area and will be eating in the dining room, next to it, that has about 6 extra large windows so everyone seating can take in the view.
